The Stryker 8312 is a sterile, single-use surgical implant barrier sheet designed to protect implanted devices—such as leads and electrodes—from fibrous tissue encapsulation during healing. Measuring 50 mm x 76 mm x 1.0 mm, this rectangular barrier sheet is made from biocompatible, non-absorbable porous polyethylene (Medpor®), a material known for its strength, stability, and integration with host tissue while maintaining structural integrity.

Acts as a physical barrier between the implant and surrounding soft tissues, helping to reduce post-operative adhesions, scar tissue formation, and inflammation that may compromise device function or lead to pain and revision surgery. Its larger surface area makes it ideal for use in spinal cord stimulation (SCS), peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS), and other neuromodulation procedures requiring broad coverage.
