The Shiley™ 5.0PELF is a sterile, uncuffed pediatric tracheostomy tube designed for children requiring long-term airway support without the need for mechanical ventilation sealing. This size 5.0 tube features a 5.0 mm inner diameter (7.3 mm OD) and an extra-long length of 50 mm, making it ideal for pediatric patients with deeper or high tracheal stomas due to anatomy or surgical considerations.

Constructed from soft, clear PVC with a smooth beveled tip for atraumatic insertion, the tube includes a contoured white flange with secure tie holes for stable anchoring and reduced skin pressure. The uncuffed design allows natural airflow around the tube, supporting spontaneous breathing and phonation — suitable for patients not at risk for aspiration.
