The Medtronic Guardian™ Sensor 3 is a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) glucose sensor designed for use with Medtronic® insulin pump systems (such as MiniMed™ 670G/770G/630G). This five-sensor box contains sterile, single-use sensors that are inserted just below the skin to continuously measure glucose levels in interstitial fluid and relay data to a compatible insulin pump and transmitter. Continuous glucose monitoring helps users track trends and patterns in glucose levels and supports advanced pump features like predictive insulin delivery adjustments and glucose alerts. The system is intended to provide up-to-date glucose information that complements traditional fingerstick blood glucose testing. The sensors typically provide up to 7 days of wear when inserted and calibrated as directed by the user guide. A prescription is required for use.
