Upon contact, the ultra-sharp, silicone-coated 21 gauge needle swiftly penetrates to a fixed depth of 1.8 mm, ensuring adequate blood flow with minimal discomfort.

After activation, the needle automatically retracts permanently into the housing, providing immediate protection against accidental needlesticks — no manual steps required. Fully enclosed design enhances safety for both patients and healthcare providers.
