The McKesson 3098780 is a sterile, single-use IV start kit designed to streamline vascular access procedures and support infection control protocols. Pre-assembled with high-quality components packaged in sequence of use, this kit enhances clinical efficiency by allowing healthcare providers to perform IV insertions quickly and safely.

Kit Contents:

• 1 – Latex-free tourniquet
• 1 – ChloraPrep® 1 mL applicator (chlorhexidine gluconate/isopropyl alcohol) with DFU (Drug Facts Insert)
• 2 – Non-woven gauze pads, 2″ x 2″, 4-ply
• 1 – Tegaderm™ transparent dressing, 2.37″ x 2.7″
• 1 – Roll of Transpore™ surgical tape
• 1 – IV change label for documentation

All components are individually wrapped and sterile, contained within a disposable tray that promotes aseptic technique. The inclusion of ChloraPrep® provides broad-spectrum antiseptic action for effective skin antisepsis, while the Tegaderm™ dressing allows for secure, transparent wound site monitoring and protection.
