DEROYAL 46-PG14 refers to a case containing 12 sterile Algidex Ag® silver wound packing strips. Each strip measures 1/4 inch in width and 5 yards in length and is made of a specially woven cotton gauze that will not ravel, lint, or fray.
The packing strip is impregnated with a silver alginate and maltodextrin matrix, providing a quick and sustained antimicrobial barrier against a broad spectrum of wound pathogens. It is designed to absorb wound exudate and decrease wound odor. The strip can be cut to the desired length for appropriate wound packing.
