Purpose:

• To test the accuracy of a blood glucose meter and ensure it is providing reliable results.
• Used along with test strips specifically designed for the control solution.

How it works:

1. Apply a small drop of the control solution onto a test strip.
2. Insert the test strip into the blood glucose meter as you would with a blood sample.
3. The meter will display a control solution value.
4. Compare this value to the target range specified on the control solution bottle.
5. If the meter reading falls within the target range, it indicates the meter and test strips are likely functioning correctly.
6. If the meter reading is outside the target range, consult the user manual for troubleshooting steps or contact the meter manufacturer for further assistance.
