The Cook Medical G26924 is a cuffed Melker Emergency Cricothyrotomy Catheter Set. This set is used for emergency airway access when conventional endotracheal intubation is not possible. It enables airway access through a percutaneous (Seldinger) technique via the cricothyroid membrane, followed by dilation of the tract and tracheal entrance for catheter passage. The set includes a cuffed airway catheter, scalpel, syringe, introducer needles (5cm & 7cm), wire guide, and curved dilator. The cuffed catheter allows for protected and controlled airway management. The set is radiopaque with a standard 15mm connector. The special operations set comes in a slip-peel pouch, making it easy to transport and the dilator is pre-inserted into the airway catheter.
