BD Perisafe modified Tuohy point epidural needles include calibrated needle depth markings. These markings help you place needles without interfering with tactile feedback. Our standard epidural needles are slightly sharper than tactile needles for penetrating tough tissue.

BD Modified Tuohy Point primary bevel is designed for greater penetration characteristics.
Epidural needle with locking base and ‘modified Huber’ bevel to minimise accidental dural puncture.
Needle graduated every 10 mm, except paediatric epidural needle which is graduated every 5 mm.
Needle equipped with moulded plastic hub
