B. Braun Sodium Chloride Injection USP 0.9% is a sterile, nonpyrogenic, isotonic solution used for intravenous hydration and electrolyte replenishment in both adult and pediatric patients. Commonly referred to as normal saline, it serves as an effective fluid replacement and diluent for compatible medications. Packaged in B. Braun’s advanced PAB® (Polyolefin Artificial Bladder) container — a PVC-free and DEHP-free system made from a copolymer of ethylene and propylene — ensuring no harmful plasticizers and minimal leachability for improved patient safety.

The container is designed with two ports: one for IV administration set connection and one for medication addition, each sealed with a tamper-evident barrier for sterility assurance. Ideal for intermittent IV administration of compatible drug additives or as a maintenance fluid. Flexible, lightweight design supports safe handling, storage, and administration.
