The B. With a low priming volume of 0.5 mL (0.68 mL total system volume), this extension set minimizes fluid waste and reduces the risk of overhydration in vulnerable patients.

Features the ULTRASITE® valve, a positive displacement needle-free connector that helps maintain catheter patency by providing backflow resistance and minimizing blood reflux into the line — reducing the risk of occlusion and infection. The valve is compatible with standard Luer lock and Luer slip fittings.
