R295 Afrin Original Spray 15ml

Active ingredient:

• Oxymetazoline hydrochloride (0.05%)

How it works:

Afrin Original Spray works by shrinking the blood vessels in your nose, which helps to reduce congestion and swelling.

Dosage and administration:

• Adults and children 12 years and older: 2-3 sprays per nostril every 12 hours. Do not use more than 2 doses in any 24-hour period.
• Children under 12 years: Do not use.

Warnings and precautions:

• Do not use:
  • If you have recently had nose surgery
  • If you are taking an MAOI inhibitor (medication for depression or Parkinson’s disease)
  • If you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid problems, or diabetes
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Stop use and talk to your doctor if:
  • You experience severe or persistent burning, stinging, or irritation in your nose
  • You get severe headache, dizziness, or sleep problems
  • Your nasal congestion gets worse or does not improve after 3 days of use
• Other warnings:
  • Do not use for more than 3 consecutive days.
  • Do not share this medication with others.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • This medication may cause drowsiness. Avoid driving, operating machinery, or doing other activities that require alertness until you know how it affects you.

• Sneezing
• Dryness of the nose
• Headache
• Dizziness
• Nausea
• Nervousness or trouble sleeping
