The Covidien Shiley™ XLT (Extended Length Tracheostomy) tube 50XLTCD is a cuffed, distal-extended adult tracheostomy tube designed for patients with challenging airway anatomy such as high tracheal stomas or post-surgical swelling. This model features a 5.0 mm inner diameter (9.6 mm OD) and total length of 90 mm — with a distal extension (48 mm) that reaches deeper into the trachea while maintaining proper positioning.

The high-volume, low-pressure cuff provides an effective seal to prevent aspiration and support mechanical ventilation, while minimizing tracheal mucosal pressure. Includes a flexible, disposable inner cannula with twist-lock mechanism for secure retention and easy removal for cleaning or replacement.

Soft, swiveling neck flange enhances patient comfort and allows easy access for stoma care. Clear PVC construction with radiopaque line for X-ray visibility. Standard 15 mm connector ensures compatibility with ventilators and circuits. Sterile, single-use device ideal for ICU, long-term care, and complex airway management. Packaged 1 per box, 10 per case.
