The Covidien Shiley™ 10CDT is a cuffed, dual-cannula adult tracheostomy tube designed for secure airway management in patients requiring mechanical ventilation or aspiration protection. Features an 8.9 mm inner diameter (13.8 mm OD) and 79 mm overall length with a 29 mm proximal segment — ideal for deep tracheal placement. The TaperGuard™ cuff provides a tapered seal that conforms to the trachea, helping to reduce air leaks and minimize subglottic fluid leakage. Beveled tip and low-profile cuff design enable smoother insertion and improved anatomical alignment. Includes a reusable inner cannula that can be removed, cleaned, and reused up to 29 days for single-patient use, supporting long-term care efficiency. Clear, soft, flexible flange is recessed to reduce pressure on the stoma site and enhance patient comfort. Radiopaque line ensures visibility under X-ray. Standard 15 mm connector.
