DARCO PW3 PEGASSIST WALKER INSOLE LARGE (Each)

DARCO PW3 refers to the DARCO PEGASSIST WALKER INSOLE in a large (LARGE) size. It is sold individually (EACH), with 12 units per box (12/BX) and 3 boxes per case (3BX/CA). This insole is part of the DARCO PegAssist Insole System, featuring a multi-indication removable-peg chassis designed to effectively offload pressure on the plantar aspect of the foot after surgery or when wounds are present. The PegAssist can reduce pressure by up to 60%, allowing the patient to remain ambulatory. This specific PW Series insole is designed to fit DARCO’s FX Pro Walker and other standard walkers, quickly converting them into effective off-loading devices. It has a 15mm combination Plastazote® and Multi-Foam base with a 3mm Poron® cover to provide cushioning and prevent ring edema and edge abrasion. A stabilizer board with a low-profile molded hook strip is included to adhere to the walker liner and prevent shifting during ambulation. This large size typically fits men’s shoe sizes 10.5 to 12 and women’s shoe sizes 8.5 to 10.
