• Description: Sterile Water for Irrigation, prepared through distillation. No antimicrobial agents or additives. pH: 5.5 (range 5.0 to 7.0). Osmolarity: 0 mOsmol/L (calculated). Packaged in a sterile, non-pyrogenic plastic pour bottle.

  • Visual Inspection: Parenteral drug products should be visually inspected for particulate matter and discoloration before use, if the solution and container allow.
• Indications: For irrigation purposes only. Not suitable for injection.
• Warnings: This solution is not isotonic and may cause hemolysis if used improperly.
• Dosage and Administration: Use as directed by a physician.
• Cautions:
  • Warm to no more than 50°C in an oven for a maximum of 60 days.
  • Discard after 60 days of warming.
  • Do not use if the solution is cloudy or if the seal is broken.
  • Discard any unused portion.
